“I trust you” is a-three-word statement that has a price to pay. When we choose to trust someone, or something, or the system – we know that we risk to be disappointed. Trust is not a cheapy chessy promise to throw – it takes all of us to trust others. Sometimes, in the middle of the road of our life, we need to trust others and ask for directions. We never know what’s on the corner or the next block of our life, therefore, we ask in order to know. Along the way, we learn that trust is not an easy thing to do – because it will put our heart at risk.
What about living without trust?
Frank Crane gave the clear answer:
“You may be deceived if you trust too much, but you will live in torment unless you trust enough.”
Have a good day!
