After a long time of no Hallelujah during mass – we finally had it again tonight! It is a sign that Jesus has risen! Hallelujah!
Tonight’s mass was started with candle celebration and 3 readings from Old Testament. The first was from the book of Genesis when God created the light. The second reading was about Abraham who was told to sacrifice his only son, Isaac. And the third reading was taken from Exodus – when Moses led the Israelites pass the Red Sea. All 3 readings spoke of the same message in which we were at the darkness – and God’s love saved us. We couldn’t see anything in the dark and God light up our world – for us to be able to see the light.
Jesus is Risen!
For our sin, He chose the cross.
Now we can choose to live, for Jesus chose to die for us.
PS: my candle was melting and made a heart shape! That’s how much He loves me 😉
Have a blessed Easter to all of you!
