I believe you must be familiar with Luke – one out of four Gospels in the Bible. There’s one verse that caught my eyes and since then – I couldn’t let this verse out of my head.
“For with God nothing will be impossible.” (Luke 1:37)
The setting on that verse was all about Mother Mary. She is the Mother of Jesus and of us all. Surely, I look up to her whenever I feel down and unable to bear my burdens. She is the one who makes me believe that with God everything is possible. I wrote that verse in the cover of my yearly diary this year. It is a reminder for me that I can fly high, go far, achieve high and live my life truthfully.
But before we stray our imagination too far, remember what follows on the next verse:
38 Then Mary said, “Behold the maidservant of the Lord! Let it be to me according to your word.” And the angel departed from her.
If we believe that everything is possible in God, then we must let go off our ego – and lift it up to God. Easier to say than done for sure. But I can always ask Mother Mary to pray for me. She will deliver my prayer to God’s hands for sure.
“Here the will of God is done, as God wills, and as long as God wills.”
(Saint Gerard Majella)
